The Flying Steamshovel Inn - King - Room 1

Centrally located stay in a heritage building g w spacious comfortable rooms. Wish we stayed longer! Positive: Historical inn with beautifully renovated rooms. Centrally located. Restaurant downstairs was awesome too! Negative: This wasn’t an issue for us, but since this is an older building there are no elevators (for those who have accessibility issues).

A quick stop in Rossland Positive: The king room was a corner unit and it was very clean and spacious. It is located about two blocks (up a hill for those walking!) from the Main Street with all the shops, restaurants and pubs. They have a great gastropub on the main floor which we enjoyed the food and cheer there during our stay. The check-in was all done “remotely” through an email with a room access code, so it was smooth and easy to follow. Negative: A heads up: the rooms are on the second floor, so you have to carry your luggage up a short set of stairs to access your room. We could actually hear some of the other rooms at times, so it is not overly soundproofed.

Would stay here again! Positive: Clean, quiet and very nice

Positive: It was very modern and comfortable Negative: There were no screens on the windows in the bedroom area. Additionally, the walk up the hill from downtown to the hotel was brutal. Something you only do once in 36 degree heat!
